The people behind the project
“We wanted to create an environment where everyone enjoys coming to work. Lots of firms say this but delivering on that culture is a never-ending goal for us”
– Billy Webber – CEO
It’s been a hectic 4 years and we have learnt a lot along the way…
After a decade of clinical research and evaluation on extended reality therapies, our founders decided to form XR Therapeutics, spinning out from the NHS and Newcastle University.
2 years on we had been awarded 4 different R&D grants and were working with 2 NHS Trusts but we had a plan, we wanted to make our intervention even more accessible, to work with a wider range of individuals and build the technology to work across different devices.
We now have 4 studio sites across the UK, have over 70 custom built treatment scenes, can treat a range of conditions and support people across all ages, backgrounds and abilities. We have also built a first of its kind online extended reality therapy platform.
